I'm Melanie Riese, a 3D artist and designer with a foundation in both design and technology.
After training as a media designer in the prepress department of an offset printing company, I earned my degree in IT and Design from University of Applied Sciences, Lübeck. I then spent almost 10 years creating high-end, photorealistic architectural visualizations, primarily using 3ds Max and Corona Renderer. You can find projects I worked on here: www.instagram.com/eve_visual_technologies/
In recent years, I’ve developed a strong passion for board games. I’m part of a german podcast focused on solo board games, where I get to explore the medium from a player’s and creative’s perspective. Now, I'm channeling that enthusiasm into visual work. I offer 3D modeling services, layout and typesetting for print and digital media, and have already created layouts for solo fan variants of board games. I'm eager to deepen my skills in graphic design.
Thanks to my background in print production, I understand the technical demands of preparing press-ready files – an essential part of board game development. I’m always excited to take on new challenges and grow as a designer, applying curiosity and care to every project.
I’m excited to contribute to board game projects with engaging visuals, clean layouts, and an eye for both aesthetics and player experience.
